Peppermint Pleco
The Peppermint Pleco comes from Brazil. It is popular for its colors. Peppermint Plecos are black with tiny white spots over their entire body. The tank should be at least 50 gallons when plecos are present. There should be lots of water movement, plants, rocks and hiding places. The Peppermint Pleco will eat algae and leftovers off the gravel. It will also eat pellets, freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex and brine shrimp.
